Breakfast wrap idea with scrambled egg, baby spinach and cheddar

Spinach & cheddar breakfast wrap

Give your breakfast a simple change of shape: scrambled eggs, baby spinach and cheddar tucked into a tortilla. This is a serving idea you can adapt to the ingredients you already enjoy.

For one wrap

  • 1 large tortilla
  • 2 eggs
  • A small handful of baby spinach
  • About ¼ cup grated cheddar
  • A little butter or oil for the pan

Make the filling

  1. Cook the spinach in a pan with a little butter or oil until wilted.
  2. Beat the eggs, add them to the pan and scramble until fully cooked.
  3. Warm the tortilla on its own, following its pack instructions.

Fold and roll

Place the filling across the lower centre of the tortilla, leaving space at both sides. Sprinkle on the cheddar, fold the sides inward and roll from the bottom to enclose the filling. Use a modest amount of filling so the tortilla closes comfortably.

Once assembled, wrap it in a suitably sized food-wrapping sheet for serving. Cook ingredients before wrapping; use CENN sheets according to the instructions supplied with the pack.

Make it your own

Try a different cheese, or add a few well-drained cooked mushrooms. Serve promptly, or store and transport the prepared food according to appropriate food-storage guidance.

Wrap it with CENN

CENN pre-cut, paper-backed foil sheets come in packs of 150, with each sheet measuring 14 × 10.75 inches. Choose a sheet size that suits your finished wrap and use the instructions supplied with your pack.
